About Plot Party

Plot Party is Questly’s original property-trading board. Roll, move around a city of invented neighborhoods, buy unowned blocks, charge rent, and raise density on a complete color set. Chance tiles shuffle money and position. Bankruptcy removes a player. The last solvent player wins. Rooms seat two to four. There is no Hasbro board, mascot, or street list.

How to play

How to play Plot Party

Build districts, collect rent, and finish with the city’s strongest balance sheet.

Choose Quick mode for 12 rounds or Classic mode for 24 rounds with auctions and mortgages. Start with ₥1,500, roll two dice, and move clockwise. Buy free blocks, pay rent, and complete a two-block color set to double its base rent. Build up to four density floors evenly. The last solvent player wins immediately; otherwise the highest net worth wins at the round limit.

Move

Passing Harbor Gate pays ₥200. Doubles earn another roll; three consecutive doubles send you to Visiting Lockup.

Buy

Owning both blocks in a color doubles base rent. Build and sell density evenly through the portfolio; developed color groups cannot be traded or mortgaged.

Rent

Classic mode auctions declined deeds and lets you mortgage undeveloped blocks. Mortgaged blocks collect no rent and cost 10% interest to reopen.

Tips for Plot Party

  • A complete cheap set with density often beats a single expensive block.
  • Keep a cash buffer for rent on the far side of the board.
  • Borough Cards can move you as well as pay you.
