About Guess the Liar

Join a private online room with three to eight players, each on their own device. Everyone receives the same question. Most players write the true answer; one secret liar bluffs. Answers appear without names and everyone casts a private vote. Catch the liar with the most votes outright to earn 300 points per detective. Otherwise the liar earns 300 points. A tie lets the liar escape.

How to play Guess the Liar

Most players write the true answer. One player lies. Vote for the liar.

Create a room and share the invite. Each player reveals their role privately on their own screen and locks an answer. After every answer is locked, each player votes for another answer. The liar is revealed only after everyone votes. Writing lasts 120 seconds and voting lasts 60 seconds. An incomplete case ends without points; the host can start a new case.

• Hunters should look for the answer that does not fit the group’s knowledge.
• Do not vote for the first odd wording by habit.
