About Four in a Row

Drop colored discs into a seven-column, six-row grid. The first player to make four of their color in a line — horizontal, vertical, or diagonal — wins. A full grid with no line is a draw. Play a friend in a two-seat room or challenge the computer. This is Questly’s own four-in-a-row implementation, not a branded Connect Four product.

How to play

How to play Four in a Row

Connect four of your discs horizontally, vertically, or diagonally before the computer.

Choose a column that is not full. Your disc falls to the lowest empty cell. Then the other player moves. Watch for three-in-a-row threats and block them.

Tips for Four in a Row

  • The center column appears in more winning lines than the edges.
  • Block any open three-in-a-row before chasing your own attack.
  • A double threat on the next turn is usually decisive.
