About this game

About Nine Boards

Nine small tic-tac-toe boards arranged as one big board. Win a small board and you claim its square; three claimed squares in a row wins the game. The catch is that the square you play in decides which board your opponent must answer in, so every move is chosen twice — once for what it takes and once for where it sends them. A board that fills with no line is closed and belongs to nobody, and being sent to a finished board frees your opponent to play anywhere. If every board closes with no line, whoever claimed more of them wins.
